Do you offer promo codes or discounts?

Promotional codes are offered exclusively to email subscribers as a reward for staying connected. Discounts are offered a few times throughout the year and cannot be combined or stacked with other discounts or promo codes.

Can I cancel or change my order after placing it?

Orders begin processing quickly. Once an order has been processed or shipped, changes or cancellations may not be possible. Contact us as soon as possible if you need assistance.

Do you offer wholesale or bulk orders?

We accept bulk orders for corporate gifting and wedding favors. Please contact us to discuss availability, minimums, and timelines.

We do not offer wholesale at this time.

Do You Accept Returns?

At White Hare, each gift box is thoughtfully assembled to order, with products curated and packaged by hand. Because of this, we do not accept returns or exchanges on any gift boxes once they’ve been fulfilled.

However, we want every individual product to meet your expectations. Candles, bath products, or other individual items purchased outside of a gift box may be returned or exchanged within 7 days of delivery, provided they are unused, unopened, and in their original packaging. If one of these items arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can arrange a prompt replacement or store credit. In the case of melted candles, depending on your location and weather heat index, we may ask to delay shipping until the weather cools. Please see our full Returns/Refunds Policy here.

DO YOU OFFER LOCAL PICK UP OR DELIVERY

We offer local delivery within our delivery mileage radius for bulk ordersincluding wedding favors, corporate gifting, and custom bulk orders. Please contact us through our "Contact" page to discuss details and request a quote.

We do not offer local pick up.

Do you offer custom or personalized orders?

We can offer custom or personalized orders for whole batch purchases (whole loaf of soap or small batch of candles). Labels can be customized as well when time permits. Custom fragrance blends aren't available at this time.

Do you release new products regularly?

We introduce new products and collections periodically rather than on a fixed schedule. This allows us to focus on quality, seasonal inspiration, and small-batch production.

Shipping

Do you ship during extreme weather?

We monitor extreme heat and cold when shipping candles. In rare cases, we may delay shipment to help protect your order. To help protect candles and soaps during transit, we ship all orders Monday through Wednesday. This reduces the chance of packages sitting in hot trucks or warehouses over the weekend, which can increase the risk of melting, shifting, or cosmetic changes. Early-week shipping also helps packages move more consistently and arrive sooner, especially during warmer months. Orders placed after Wednesday may be held to ship on Monday of the following week.

Can I change my shipping address after ordering?

Please contact us as soon as possible. Address changes are not guaranteed once an order has been processed or shipped.

What if my package is delayed or lost?

Once a package is in the carrier’s possession, delivery times are controlled by the shipping provider. If your package appears lost or significantly delayed, contact us and we’ll help guide you on next steps.

How are candles and soaps packaged for shipping?

We package items carefully to help prevent damage during transit. Candles are cushioned for stability, and soaps are wrapped to protect their finish.

What if my order arrives damaged?

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging so we can assist you.

When will my order ship?

We ship Monday through Wednesday to help prevent your order from sitting in a hot truck over the weekend. You will receive a tracking order via email.

Orders typically ship within 1-2 business days Monday through Wednesday unless otherwise noted. Orders placed Thursday through Sunday will ship on the following Monday.

Processing times may be longer during launches, holidays, or high-volume periods.

Do you ship nationwide?

Yes, we currently ship within the United States. At this time, we do not offer international shipping.

Will I receive tracking information?

Yes. Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking number via email.

Products

Are your products handmade?

Yes. Our products are made in small batches by hand. Because of this, natural variations in color, texture, and finish are normal and part of the handmade process.

Are the ingredients in your soap safe?

Yes.

Cosmetic-grade ingredients are commonly used in our handmade soap and personal care. Below is what each ingredient does and why we use it.

Palm oil: Palm oil is sometimes criticized for environmental reasons, not because it is harmful to skin. Concerns usually relate to deforestation and wildlife habitat loss when palm oil is irresponsibly sourced. We use certified sustainable palm oil from responsible suppliers. When produced ethically, palm oil is highly efficient and can reduce overall land use compared to many alternative oils. Palm oil itself is a gentle, widely used soapmaking oil and is safe and beneficial for skin.

Fragrance: Our fragrance oils are IFRA-compliant and formulated for soap, meeting strict safety standards for skin contact. “Fragrance” is a standard label term for a tested blend. Essential oils can sometimes be more irritating than fragrance oils for sensitive skin. If you prefer no fragrance oils in your products please check-out our unscented options.

Activated charcoal: In soap, charcoal works at the surface level to gently cleanse. It is not absorbed into the skin. Used in small amounts, it helps lift impurities without stripping.

Kaolin clay: Kaolin is one of the gentlest cosmetic clays. It helps create a smooth, creamy lather and provides mild oil balance without being harsh.

Titanium dioxide: Titanium dioxide is used to naturally lighten soap. In a solid bar it is bound into the formula, not airborne, not inhaled, and not absorbed through the skin. Concerns online typically relate to inhalation in loose powders, not soap.

Iron oxide: Iron oxides are mineral-based colorants widely used in cosmetics and soaps. They are stable, non-reactive, and considered safe for topical use. We minimize the use of colorants in our soaps and attempt to use natural clays for color in the majority of our soaps.

If you have very sensitive skin or known fragrance sensitivities, we recommend patch testing and discontinuing use if irritation occurs. Please check out our unscented options as well for sensitive skin.

Are the ingredients in your candles safe?

Yes.

Our candles are made with carefully selected, industry-standard materials designed for safe home use.

We use lead-free wicks, and choose wood wicks when possible, which are free from metal cores. Our wax is phthalate-free and selected for clean, consistent burning. All fragrances are IFRA-compliant, meaning they meet strict safety standards for use in candles.

We also follow best practices in candle making by:

  • Using wick sizes matched to the vessel to prevent excessive heat or smoking
  • Keeping fragrance usage within safe, tested limits
  • Testing burn performance to promote an even melt pool and stable flame
  • Avoiding additives that increase soot or unsafe burn behavior

As with all candles, proper use matters. Never burn any candle more than 4 hours. Always burn within sight, keep wicks trimmed before each use, and discontinue use if the flame becomes too large or the vessel becomes excessively hot. Keep flames away from unattended children and pets.

Do your products have a shelf life?

Yes. For best quality, we recommend using soaps within 12 months and candles within 12–18 months of purchase. Store products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to help preserve scent and performance.
